Who we are

AstronLab ("AstronLab", "we") operates this website at https://astronlab.com. When you send us an enquiry we act as the controller of the personal information in that message. Questions about this policy can go to [email protected].

What we collect

This site is a static website with one interactive feature: the contact form. We collect only what you choose to type into it:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your company name, if you provide one
• Which service you are interested in, if you select one
• Your message

If you write to us by email instead, we hold that message under the same terms.

Technical data

Our hosting and security provider may process standard request information such as IP address, timestamp and request metadata in order to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. This is processed on our behalf and is not used to build a profile of you.

Spam protection

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile performs a challenge in your browser and returns a single-use token that our server validates. It is designed to work without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. The only value submitted to our server is the token itself, which is discarded after validation.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and to discuss the work you described
• To keep a record of the conversation for the duration of the engagement
• To understand, in aggregate, which parts of the site are useful

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. We share it only where a service provider is required in order to deliver the site or send our reply, and only to the extent needed to do that.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. If we work together, records are kept for as long as needed for the engagement and any legal obligations that follow from it.

Cookies

This site sets no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. You can read the site's robots file and the source of any page to confirm this. Your browser may store the site in its ordinary cache; that is under your control.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask for a copy of it
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
• Ask for a portable copy of the information you gave us

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and the contact endpoint validates submissions on the server rather than trusting the browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold small so that a breach would be limited in scope.

Children

This site is intended for business enquiries and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be pointed out from the contact page.
